ENROLLMENT INFORMATION

I welcome students of all ages, levels, and voice types — from beginners to professionals.

Please read the 6-step orientation below in the order presented, then reply to the questionnaire at the bottom. If you have not yet done so, please first visit the Voice Lessons page to familiarize yourself with my studio before completing enrollment.

STEP 1 — INTRODUCTION

Technique comes before style. A singer or speaker who learns natural and correct vocal technique can apply it to any musical genre or speaking field. My students come from diverse backgrounds including classical, opera, musical theater, jazz, pop, R&B, bluegrass, country, rock, heavy metal, and public speaking.

Except for the introductory lesson, the first half of each lesson is for technical work, and the second half is for repertoire. You are welcome to bring any material — song or speech — from any genre to your lessons.

All lessons are taught online via Zoom. A larger screen (laptop or tablet) is recommended. Every lesson is recorded for the student’s private study.

Lessons are about quality, not quantity. Weekly lessons are not required. You may choose a recurring schedule (weekly, biweekly, or monthly) or schedule as needed. Daily practice — regardless of duration — is essential.

STEP 2 — SCHEDULING & GOOGLE STUDIO CALENDAR

You will receive access to the studio Google Calendar for viewing only (not self-scheduling). To request lessons, please call 617-863-7379.

My regular teaching hours are 3pm–8pm EST, every day. You may request any available time slot. I leave 30 minutes between lessons as transition time. Please use the weekly view of the calendar when checking availability.

The Introductory Lesson is scheduled during the Orientation, not back-to-back.

STEP 3 — INTRODUCTORY LESSON

The Introductory Lesson is a comprehensive 90-minute session suitable for both adults and children.

• In the first 60 minutes, I teach the fundamentals of vocal technique.
• In the final 30 minutes, the student applies those fundamentals through guided exercises.

This session offers a thorough introduction to the Vocathletic System™ and its practical use.

All lessons are recorded for the student’s private study. Recordings cannot be shared publicly without mutual permission.

STEP 4 — LESSON RATES

• Standard Lesson (60 minutes): $100
• Introductory Lesson (Orientation + 90 minutes): $200
• Extended Lesson (90 minutes): $150
• Immersion Lesson (120 minutes): $200
• Children (by request only):
  • 45 minutes — $75
  • 30 minutes — $60



STEP 5 — PAYMENT METHODS

Payment is due in advance.

Accepted methods: Venmo, PayPal, Zelle.

Students with recurring schedules reserve lessons on a monthly basis.

STEP 6 — CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY

A 48-hour notice by phone is required for all schedule changes.

If an emergency requires cancellation within 48 hours, a courtesy makeup may be offered at my discretion. For all schedule-related communication (emergency or not), please call 617-863-7379. No emails or texts, please.
